For a permanent memorial, granite is without question the best choice of material. It is hard, heavy, durable and elegant. Although naturally occurring granite stones or boulders can be used, most monuments are crafted from specially quarried granite of known “monument grade” quality; free of faults, voids, deleterious minerals.
“Our top priority throughout the process is ensuring your needs are met”
- Who is the monument for?
- How many people is it for?
- Do you have a style in mind?
- Location of cemetery?
We will create a proof of the monument that you have chosen including lettering and designs. If the proof requires changes this is the time that you will be able to review and make change requests.
The proofs will include the total cost for your monument including designs, etchings, accessories, and installation.
The design process continues until you approve the final draft, at which point the materials are ordered and the work begins crafting your memorial.
Once the material arrives work begins based upon your customized design.
The computer-generated stencil is cut and laid out on the monument. The monument is ready to be sandblasted.
Production can take some time, depending on whether you have hand etched or impact etched images. Some etchings are intricate hand-crafted art created by our in-house artist.
